Geoff started playing trumpet in 1969. He was taught by John King and Graham Saunders. He has regularly gigged for the whole of his playing career, and fixed brass sections and players for orchestras, weddings etc. He is available for brass ensemble, orchestral, jazz, and Baroque Piccolo trumpet work on 07773 698060 and geoffcloke@virginmedia.com.

Brass Ensembles: Geoff founded Devon Brass ensemble in 2000 and has played for it since. He also has played in Gli Ottoni Veneziani, Farnaby Brass, Wallingford Chamber Brass, and regularly played for other groups.

Geoff plays Bach, Wachet Auf (with Tony Yates Singing):

Orchestras: Geoff has played trumpet regularly for Exeter Bach Choir, Exeter Music Group, Exeter Singers,Exeter Symphony Orchestra, City of Oxford Orchestra, Oxford Pro Musica, Oxford Symphony Orchestra, Oxford Studio Orchestra, and has 'gigged' for a large number of others and played regularly for university orchestras in Bangor, Keele, and Oxford.

Geoff plays Moon River with Taunton Deane Big Band:

Jazz: Geoff co-founded the Rampant Cats Jazz band and played in it for 10 years. He has also played for Taunton Deane Big Band, North Wales Coast Big Band, and done occasional gigs for other jazz bands.

Shows. While in Oxford, North Wales, the South West and since moving to Yorkshire, Geoff has played in many shows, ranging from Shakespeare, through Pirates of Penzance and Oklahoma, to Guys and Dolls, Oliver and A Chorus Line.

As Geoff plays and teaches other brass instruments (and class music) and arranges music for school bands. In the course of this, Geoff has played French Horn, Tenor Horn, Baritone, Tuba, Piano and regularly plays Trombone in school bands. Evidence can be furnished of this.
